As a little advent celebration I've done another Christmas wish list just for my lovely boyf! We've been deliberating about what to get each other for Christmas this year, how much to spend etc. We both decided that we would write each other an ideas list... and this is mine! <3 

What ideas have you been giving your fellas? 

My hot water bottle literally melted apart a month ago so a cute hot water bottle and cover is top on the list. I'd also love some pretty smelling candles, we always burn candles in our flat. I find it so relaxing to have candles burning in a room.  

After reviewing Neom's gift set I fell in love with their great quality products and gorgeous scents so a Neom candle would be a real treat. However, at the price I might be a bit too afraid to burn the candle! So, any lovely smelling candle would be fab :) 

Like any girl, pretty much any cosmetics from MAC or Benefit will make me happy! and I'm a big Rhianna fan so her new album is a must-have for my car :)

How to stop your ring from turning your finger green

Hi Girlies! Boy am I happy to be back... big apologies for my lack of posts last week.

For once in my life I have a more than valid excuse.. I was sent to A&E, went into surgery and then had to stay over night in hospital! I know, proper goss hehe. Feeling much better now though and back on the blog thang you'll be glad to know :) Hope you've been well and no insane trips to the hospital like me??

So, a couple of weeks ago I was out with bestie wearing one my fav Accessorize rings when (as per usual) I started to get green finger syndrome. I find that Accessorize rings, despite being B.E.A.Utiful and so bad for green fingerness and for once wanted to find out why.

I did a bit of online googling and found out that fashion ring metals oxidize or react with our skin creating the green bi-product. These are the top 3 recommended ways of preventing it:

1. Remove your rings whenever you know you will be coming into contact with water. Swimming, washing your hands and doing dishes can all cause the skin on your finger to turn green underneath your ring. Removing your rings and drying your hands thoroughly after coming into contact with water will prevent this from happening.
   
2. Apply clear nail polish to the inside of the ring. A coating of the nail lacquer will prevent the ring's metal alloys from coming in contact with your skin. This is probably one of the most effective solutions and the easiest. If the clear polish wears off, you can always add another layer. It will be completely invisible and will work like magic.
   
3. Place a layer of underarm deodorant around your finger where the ring lies. Perspiration can cause a ring that is not of very high quality to turn your finger green. The sweat mixes with the metal alloys and leaves behind a nasty green or black ring, and the deodorant will help prevent perspiration buildup in that area. You can do this each time you wear the ring.

P.S. Boyf is playing Dead Space on the Xbox right now and I am literally so scared... does anyone elses play this game?? It's about these mutant aliens on this space ship and it makes me want to cry!

This is an outfit I wore going out with boyf recently. I bought the dress from Republic a couple of weeks ago and am in love with it! If you've been reading my blog you'll have noticed a couple of posts about the cut out trend. I've got too cut-out dresses which I absolutely love and have been wearing non-stop. We had a really fun night out, the photo was taken after it rather than before hence the shiny face... eww sorry about that. My make up did look better before the night out, promise! <3

Super Sunday Haul

On Sunday I took a little trip into town to have a look around the shops. It was quite innocent I swear. I really didn't mean to buy so much :) I bought from River Island, Accessorize, House of Fraser- Glamourous, Jane Norman and Miss Selfridges. Did anyone else do any shopping at the weekend?

My fav purchase of the day was the ear cuff I bought from Miss Selfridges - something totally wacky I know but I love it! Just got to figure out how to wear it now... a post on that to come later in the week, so keep and eye out. <3

Accessorize Nail Wraps 7 Day Review

Nail Wraps after Day 5

 

Hi Girls, Sorry I've kept you waiting on this review, I moved into a new flat and so lost my boadband :( It was sad times for me! 

So a Little while ago I did a blog post and a mentioned in a YouTube clip that I was reviewing the Accessorize Nail Wraps. I loved the wraps themselves and found them suprisingly easy to put on (thought I'd be so cringe awful at it!) but wondered how long they would last. Sadly I didnt make the 7 day trial and ended up peeled them off in frustration (they peel off very easily though which is great hehe)

They lasted well for around three days but after day five of wear and tear they looked like the above. It's not suprising though as they are just sparkly stickers for your nails. My verdict it that nail wraps are brilliant but only for one day or weekend events. If you've got something special coming up they're a lovely nail treat and did make my nails look a lot more glam than polish ever could. However, if you are looking for a long term nail fix, nail wraps aren't for you. 

P.S. If your careful you can get two uses from one nail wrap kit... the size of the stickers are huuuumungous! And us girlies have ickle fingers :)

Accessorize nail wraps

Hi guys! Hope you're all well. Thought I'd show you my new favourite nail love... nail wraps. Yep, ok so I'm a bit late to the craze, my bestie bought me these metalic leopard print wraps for my Birthday last year and I just haven't had anything special enough to try them for. 

These ones are Accessorize Metalic nail wraps and come in a little thin pack shown in the photo above. You pull out the nail strips and are suppose to cut each strip exactly to your nail size. Finding this far too tricky for lil old me I just roughly cut and adjusted once on the nail. I managed to put on all these wraps in about the same time it takes to do two coats of nail polish, not too bad I thought. I did get lots of little bits of sticky left over though which I had to pick off my fingers and carpet! oops!

My verdict so far is Nail Wraps are fab! 

They are easy to put on, and will get easier with practice, they're pretty much big stickers for your nails. 

Keep an eye out for my YouTube video in a weeks time when I will be reviewing how long lasting they are :)
