Wholesome Bling

Heya Chicks,

So last week I got a treat in my inbox. The lovely people from watch company Wholesome Bling got in contact. They've just launched their brand new website www.wholesomebling.com and to celebrate wanted to let me know that my gorgeous readers (yep that means you hottie lol) can grab 10% off their watches by using the code New10%off at the check out.

Because I'm extra spoilt they also sent me over one of their watches to review. I chose the the Jungle Small Fabric Watch which retails at £22.00. I love love love the cute fabric! You know I can't say away from anything kitsch and cute. First off I adore the packaging. Each watch comes neatley ribbon-bow packaged in it's own little twist top Jar. Each watch fabric and face is sewn and added by hand making each unique. The fabric, tied around the wrist in a sweet bow gives the watch a twist of boho festival cool but with the functionality of a watch. I was also impressed by the quality of the timepiece itself.

I'm in love and wore my cute Jungle fabric watch all weekend. What do you think? I was a little worried about the watch falling off when wearing it as it was just tied but it didn't atall. I actually loved that it was loose and comfy. Please check out this brilliant London-based watch brand and grab your self a bargin with 10% and free UK delivery.

 I admit I'm a shameless #selfie lover :P

SALON REVIEW: DoveSpa Reigate

EEEK no makeup shot
Hi chickies,

If I ever need some first class pampering there is only one place I head too and that is the beaut that is Dove Spa. I can't recommend them more highly. I've been numerous times and the level of services is pure luxury. It's the little things that count; like the uber friendly staff, checking if the temperature in your room is warm enough for you, letting you take your time and making you feel comfortable.

Nowhere else seems to be up to scratch in comparison. What are your thoughts? Have you been and experienced the same... it can't just be me right? :)

As you can see from my little take-away notelet from the lovely Sophia I had a Drift Away Experience which consists of an exfoliating back scrub, soothing back massage, replenishing facial and a choice of head, foot or hand massage. I chose a head massage, naturally.

My room was extra warm (a pet hate of mine is a cold room... all that shivering makes for disturbed relaxation!) and blissfully quite except for a little chill music. Sophia was perfect too, just the right amount of chat. Talk is great if you're having your nails done but nobody wants to discuss their weekend when they're having a back massage. The rooms and reception are always spick and span and modern. 10 out of a massive 10 from LuckyPretty. Keep up the good work Dove Spas!

P.S. Drink plenty of water today! hehehe

F&F Magic Dress Range Review

Hi Lovelies,

Hope your summer is going well. The lovely people at F&F Tesco's got in contact a few weeks ago asking if I would like to review a dress in their new F&F Magic range. I naturally obliged... anything with Magic in the title is bound to be amazing hehe..

The F&F Magic range is a collection of dresses with secret magic support built in. What's not to love! They have a varied collection to choose from so take a peak on their website for more beauties but I opted for the Magic Animal Print dress which retails at £25.00.

To give you a good example of my 'hate' spots I've put in a before snap. Me below in the little black number shows off nicely that icky bit between some thunder thighs and bit of muffin top meet lol This is exactly what the magic dress was invented for.. smoothing out those imperfections. Magic dress to the rescue!

 Pretty pretty
The black slip under the skirt is well designed, comfortable and well reinforced!
Matching shoes and the new Mulberry set it off quite nicely right!

The face you pull when your dad comes out and asks what your doing posing in the garden.

To start with I adore the pattern. The dress is a silky smooth material, gorgeous to touch and comfortable to wear. I was worried that the sewn in support slip would suffocate me like so many others tend to do but it was just right. Very comfortable to wear all day.. I've spent hours sitting in it in work meetings!

The dress is also designed to be flattering; gathering around the tummy masks a large lunch and it has sleeves for girls conscious of their arms (like me!).

I was mightily impressed by the dress, my mumma is jealous and wants one herself. Overall a big thumbs up from LC.

HAUL: River Island, Primani, Debenhams, Warehouse

Shopping, shopping, shopping
and a sneaky doughnut.. oops!
River Island heels SALE
Warehouse dress and skirt
Primark bits and pieces
Love the studs
One pound each accessories are too cute
Love the detail on this dress

Hi lovelies,

Above are my latest Haul buys. My favourite purchase is the Warehouse Spotlight dress with jewel detail on each shoulder. Simply my fav because it was a stunning £12.00 in the sale... incredible price don't you think?

There seems to be a running theme with this Haul though. It's all about embellishment. From the jewels on my dress to the studs on heels and hair grips. I'm also loving rose-gold as a colour at the moment and haven't taken off the pretty rose-gold charm hair ties off my wrists since I bought them.

Everything that seemed to catch my eye on this trip was black, grey or rose-gold. I'm loving muted smokey colours at the moment... we just haven't had enough British sun to move into pastels just yet I think. However, the Elmo trainer socks were just too cute not to buy! They are the pop of colour my bleak haul needed hehe.

What have you been buying lately?

Schwarzkopf Live Color XXXL Ultra Brights Hair Dye Review

THE KIT
BEFORE

DURING
AFTER

Hi Chickies!

So, if you're a follower of my blog you'll know that a little while ago I was a red head using Garnier Fiery Red 6.60 Hair dye

Since then I decided to let my hair grow and the dye to wash out. Luckily Ombre hair is in fashion and, as the dye lightened my locks, I was lucky to be on trend as it grew out!

However, I fancied a bit of a change and noticed that Schwarzkopf have recently bought out the new Live Color XXXL Ultra Brights Hair Dye range. I picked up the kit for a very reasonable £4. I chose it because it is semi permanent - washing out after around 8 washes. This will keep my locks in good condition and be less chemically harsh.

Because it was semi-permanent I was keen to see how it would take to my hair and if it really would be as bright as Schwarzkopf claimed. How wrong I was to doubt them!! Beautifully bright and healthy hair in under an hour!

The colour I chose was Rasberry Rebel 91. The colour at the tips was a fairly light mousey brown colour initially so came out more of a pinky-red than a bright pink but I love it! The colour would definitely be brighter on lighter hair.

The Kit is easy and quick to use. Because I was dip dying I tied my hair in a pony tale before applying the dye to get an even application just at the tips. This seemed to work perfectly <3

Schwarzkopf have created a brilliant Semi-permanent hair dye which is a rare thing to find in the high street chain drug stores - two thumbs up and shiny hair all round!

Have you tried out any of the other Schwarzkopf Live Color XXXL Ultra Brights Hair Dye colours? Pillar Box Red and Fiery Copper
